Equinox Moon Phase Calendar - Northern Hemisphere or Southern Hemisphere Unless you request otherwise your Equinox Lunar Calendars will be set for the hemisphere for the address you give us when you order. If you live in the Southern Hemisphere [Australia, New Zealand, Southern Africa, Brazil, Argentina or Chile], you will want the moon set for local viewing. If you are located in the Northern Hemisphere [North & Central America, UK and Europe, North Africa and Asia], you will want the shape of the Moon to be as it appears in that part of the world. If you want to order calendars to be set for the opposite hemisphere to where you live (for example as a gift), please make a note in the comments box on the final page of the order form - the same page for credit card details. You can of course split your order e.g. 2 Northern and 3 Southern. In the southern hemisphere, the shape of the Moon face appears to be the reverse of the northern hemisphere. For example, in the northern hemisphere, the Moon forms a C shape as it is waning before the new moon While in the southern hemisphere, the moon forms a C after the new moon when the moon is waxing.
